Polyarthrosis - special form of arthrosis that particularly affects the fingers

Polyarthrosis, also called finger arthrosis, is a special form of the disease and is so called when several joints of our body are affected by wear and pain at the same time due to arthrosis.

Causes of the disease are still poorly understood; a genetic component, overloading of the joints, injuries or wear and tear in old age, and often psychological disorders in youth, are possible reasons. The hip joints, finger joints and joints of the big toes are frequently affected.


Therapy: treatment by central pain therapy, as well as the use of physiotherapy and occupational therapy.
