Acute (non-permanent) upper respiratory tract infections

Infections of the upper respiratory tract, which are usually caused by viruses and are referred to by doctors as flu-like infections, are generally problem-free in their course of illness.

However, the general feeling of illness and the inflammation in the nose, throat and larynx can severely restrict us humans in our everyday lives due to unpleasant symptoms.

Therapy: With appropriate treatment, for example inhalations and bed rest, the infection usually heals in a week.
